You could achieve the same or better result mixing up the color on your own. I feel you there, but no matter how close the color is, it's not the same. ![]() All in all there are many reasons why you might want to use more than one range. Mixing and matching different ranges offers different options, such as a slightly different finish for some ranges, more compatible colours, different pigment coverage, etc. there was even a photo of the GW studio desk with Vallejo paints on it IIRC). It also offers the chance to migrate to a different paint range if you got started on one range but are getting fed up with it (for example the old screw top GW paints drove a lot of people away. ![]() Even if they where the reviews on youtube are really negative. Has far has citadel air range, there are 6 shops that sell gw products near where I live, only one sells them, and they arent restocking anymore.
